Delta Chi was formed on October 13, 1890 at Cornell University, initially as a professional fraternity for law students. Around 30 years later, Delta Chi became a general membership social fraternity, meaning men not studying law would still be eligible for membership. Delta Chi has over 120 chapters and 100,000 brothers across North America. Notable Alumni include: Robert Todd Lincoln (son of Abe Lincoln), Mel Fisher (treasure hunter) , Kevin Costner (actor), Ashton Kutcher (actor) and Jack Del Rio (NFL coach).
