Delta Tau Delta was founded at Bethany College in West Virginia in 1858. Eight men were drawn together through respects and common values, these men are regarded as the founders of Delta Tau Delta; they based the organization on the principles of truth, courage, faith an power. Since beginning in 1858, the fraternity has spread to 200 campuses with over 130 active chapters across the nation. Notable Alumni include: Matthew McConaughey (actor), John Elway (NFL QB), Drew Carey (comedian, actor) and Will Ferrell (actor).
