Phi Delta Theta was founded in 1848 at Miami University by "The Immortal Six". The fraternity was built on three foundation pillars; the cultivation of friendship among members, the acquirement individually of a high degree of mental culture and the attainment personally of a high standard of morality. Today, Phi Delta Theta has around 190 active chapters and colonies in 42 states and 5 Canadian provinces. Famous alumni include: Adam Silver (NBA commissioner), Benjamin Harrison (23rd US president), Burt Reynolds (actor) and Billy Payne (Chairman at Augusta).
