Phi Kappa Sigma was founded by Dr. Samuel Brown Wylie Mitchell at the University of Pennsylvania. He brought these ideals to 6 of his peers and weeks later on October 19, 1850 the fraternity was born. Phi Kappa Sigma is a charter member of the North-American Fraternity Conference and is headquartered in Chester Springs PA. Notable alumni include: Adolphus A Busch IV (Budweiser), De Benneville Bell (NFL drafter creator) and Stanford Moore (Nobel prize winner).
