Pi Kappa Alpha was founded at the University of Virginia back in 1868 and it now has more than 220 chapters across the United States and Canada. PIKE founded the Pi Kappa Alpha Foundation in 1948 to create charitable, literary and educational programs to aid those who were minimally provided for. Notable alumni include: Bobby Bowden (most winning coach in NCAA history), Jimbo Fisher (current FSU head coach), Dabo Swinney (NFL QB) and Steve Prefontaine (World Class Runner).
