Tau Kappa Epsilon was founded on January 10, 1899 at Illinois Wesleyan University. With over 270 active chapters, Tau Kappa Epsilon is one of the larger fraternities in the word, in fact it is the second largest in terms of chapters established. Notable alumni include: Ronald Reagan (40th POTUS), Merv Griffin (creator of Jeopardy!) and Elvis Presley (musician).
